Dirt Flies in Reid-Angle Senate Seat Battle in Nevada

Sen.-Harry-Reid.jpgThe Harry Reid -- Sharron Angle Senate fight in Nevada is getting hotter and dirtier.  It is the most publicized election rate in the country right now.

President Barack Obama has been to Nevada twice so far to pitch for Reid. Reid was the key vote that won the Healthcare bill for Obama.

The latest stiletto is being thrown by GOP challenge Sharron Angle.

Her newest online ad purports to show Senate Majority Leader Reid living a lavish lifestyle and hanging out with high-end female fashion models.

"While you may be in the unemployment line, someone's more likely to be in a conga line," the ad shouts.

Sharon-Angle-Republican-candidate-Nevada.jpg"And while your family is just hanging on, someone's been hanging out with supermodels," a woman in the ad continues.

"And while you worry about making your next mortgage payment, guess who lives in this spectacular Washington Ritz-Carlton," the woman adds.

A picture of Reid with a supermodel flashes on the screen.

The ad has been removed from YouTube due to a copyright claim made by Zuffa LLC, the group that owns Ultimate Fighting Championship.

At this point, it isn't clear which part of the ad has prompted the complaints.

What is clear is that Angle is desperate to win votes as the Nov. 2 Mid-Term election deadline approaches 11 days from today.

In her public debate with Reid last week, Angle shouted at him:

"... You came from Searchlight to the Senate with very little. Now you're one of the richest men in the U.S. Senate. On behalf of Nevada taxpayers, I'd like to know -- we'd like to know -- how did you become so wealthy on a government payroll?"

Reid called the thrust a "low-blow." He replied:

"I think most everyone knows, I was a very successful lawyer, I did a very good job in investing, I've been on a fixed income since I went to Washington, I lived off what I made in the private sector, I put my five kids through 100 semesters of school, and I paid for every penny of it.

"So your suggestion that I made money being a senator is simply false."

Politicians have no shame, as Angle so vividly displayed.  The American voter can see right through such exaggerated claims.

Angle has no class. No grace. No right to sit in the United States Senate.

The Nevada race right now is so tight, even experience pollsters are calling it even-up. But not in my book.  Reid will win and regain his seat in the U.S. Senate.

Angle lost to Reid in a similar race in 2008.  She will do the same in 2010.
